Other Alterations
As Pin Works heads into its 10th year, I'm making a few changes to the business. Starting in 2027, I'll be focusing exclusively on bridal alterations!
I love the work I do with wedding dresses and I'm excited to dedicate more of my time, energy and attention to creating a great experience for my brides. As my business grows and evolves, I'm making room for changes that allow me to continue doing the work I love.
That said, there are a couple of exceptions! Here's what you need to know if you're looking for alterations outside of bridal work.
When I may be able to help
Returning Clients
Have we worked together before? If you're a returning client looking to have a formal dress altered, I'd still love to hear from you!
Whether it's a dress for a special occasion or another formalwear alteration, send me an email with a description of what you need, photos of the garment and your event date. I'll let you know if I have availability and if it's something I can accommodate.
Bridal Party Alterations
Are you a bride booking your wedding dress alterations with me and hoping to have other members of your bridal party work with me too? I'm happy to consider alterations for your mom, bridesmaids or other members of your wedding party!
If you're interested in booking multiple garments, please mention this on your bridal inquiry form. I'll take a look at my schedule and let you know what I can accommodate.
Availability for additional garments is limited and will depend on my workload and schedule.
What I do not offer
To keep my focus on bridal alterations, I do not accept new clients for standalone formalwear or everyday clothing alterations.
This includes:

Pants and jeans hemming

Zipper replacements

Clothing repairs and mending

Custom clothing requests

Other everyday sewing and repair requests
If you're looking for someone to hem your favorite pair of jeans or fix a broken zipper, Pin Works is not a fit for those projects.
