Hi! I'm Jessica - the owner and sole alterations specialist behind Pin Works.
My passion for sewing started early as a teenager learning to sew and led me to earn a degree in Apparel Merchandising, Design, and Production from Iowa State University. After University I kept sewing as just a hobby for many years until 2017 when I needed a bridesmaid dress altered.
That process sparked my interest, and with the guidance of a skilled mentor, I turned that curiosity into a business. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to helping brides achieve the desired fit for their special moments.
In 2026 I moved my business out of my home into a commercial office which is where I'm at to this day. I'm so excited to welcome you into this professional space!
I take pride in delivering high-quality, personalized service—because everyone deserves to feel like their dress was made for them.
